My son is 14 and he likes t receive cash so he can pick out a game for his Wii or Xbox. If you don't want to give money, a gift card to a place like Bestbuy or EBgames where such games are sold are appreciated.
I know you said no gift cards, but if you don't know their interests it's the best way to go.

Don't get them anything you would give ur grandpa. try a gift card to a place you would probably enjoy if u were them.
