How much should a typical 15 year old teenage girl weigh?

my daughter used to be very very thin but now that she has hit adulthood she is gaining ALOT of weight.

she has a medium build with curvy hipsHow much should a typical 15 year old teenage girl weigh?
How tall is she?

Height has a lot to do with it

and muscle weighs more than fat and retains more water weight.

For a female, the weigh to hieght ratio should go about as follows (give 20 pounds or take 10 pounds) but they should weigh at LEAST as much as these healthy minimums.

5' = 100 pounds

5'1'; = 105

5'2'; = 110

5'3'; = 115

and as you can see, it keeps increasing with five pounds to every inch added. There are also other ways to check if your daughter has a healthy weight. Check her BMI (body mass index) to see if it is in a healthy range (link: http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/ ). But most of all keep in mind that she is only 15 and is still developing. Some girls don't grow taller until then, and usually put on some weight before this growth-spurt. Relax.

depends on her height. a bmi calculator should tell you approx. how much she should weigh. but as long as she is on a healthy diet and exercising, there should be no concern. some girls can weigh as little as 95 pounds and have a large body fat percentage, which is very unhealthy. body fat percentage can be obtained through some special tests or a special scale that has Bioelectrical impedance analysis
