Was this really a non-issued, and that is why no one talks about it any more? What happened to all the ';Sarah Palin's Teenage Daughter Is Pregnant'; slams?
This has exactly one political point of relevance.





Governor Palin believes that she should act in accordance with her beliefs, so she is against childhood sex education or anything other than abstinence education , and her high school age daughter is pregnant. It's simply the case that unintended pregnancy is almost a logical conclusion to such preposterous policies.





That said, it's totally impractical, unless we go back to shotgun weddings (always a recipe for successful marriage). You'll notice that it took the resources of the national RNC, to both find the boyfriend and ';induce'; him to actually act responsibly. Furthermore, not everyone has the resources of the RNC to induce proper behavior on these kids. So you just end up with alot of ';baby-mama's'; %26amp; ';baby-daddy's'; and not alot of married couples with children.





The ideal has degenerated from valuing marriage and family to promoting bad policy and unstable, unhappy marriages at a tragically young age.





I don't suppose they will have to worry about college money at this point, but it's tragic nonetheless, in so far as both parents are both still teenagers and they are implicated in the maelstrom of national politics.





But Grandma Palin, has one other thing to worry about, and that's core competency. It's become pretty painfully obvious that she's not the most qualified person for the VP seat.What happened to all the ';Sarah Palin's Teenage Daughter Is Pregnant'; slams?
It's not an issue so what she's pregnant many teens are if it happened back in the 50's and 60's they would just get married and nobody said anything about it.


I'm sorry but I got other issues in life than to worry about some teen who's pregnant. That's what she has parents for..
She started to take interviews, so her opposition don't really need to bring that up any more. They've got much better things to work with. Obama's church on the other hand, is still a talking point. Even more then it was last week, when Obama wasn't 8% and 60 electoral college points ahead.
It wasn't an issue. But, if the rumor that Bristol is getting married right before the election to drum up excitement for the GOP really happens...I will take issue with her using one of her children to gain votes. That's just deplorable.
I think the issue was not that she was pregnant to begin with but that she's big on abstinence. Don't push a view-point on the whole country if you can't pull it off in your own household.
It still doesn';t change the fact that Bristol Palin is a whore and Sarah Palin is a hypocrite just like Larry Craig or Ted Haggard or Mark Foley.
They talk about it less and less as she makes herself look more and more incompetent in interviews. She's gone from asset to weakness in a matter of weeks.
Up and disappeared like a fart in the wind-although it still safer to hunt with Cheney then to take a ride with Kennedy Oops did I say that out loud?
They shouldn't have been here in the first place. They amounted to Cyber Bullying and NO CHILD deserves the terrible things being said about her.
It wasn't an ';issue'; - it was news. Now its not news.
