If you have medium-long hair for a teenage guy and you cut it short will it grow back looking really good?

I have hair where the bang's hit my eyebrows, and the sides almost cover my ears, the back comes down to my neck. It has a little bit of curl to it. If i cut it short will it grow back looking better than it is now. Well if you straighten your hair then yes if you cut it, it will grow back better. But if you don't, then your hair will be the same quality when it grows back. If you don't straighten your hair and feel like it's brittle lately thats probably because of harsh winter weather, so your hair doesn't have as much moisture.
If you cut it real close it will grow back to your likings and specifications. You must monitor it while it's growing back to make sure it grows back even all around. Otherwise it may grow back and leave you looking like Frankenstein's nephew...
