Your opionion on a teenage girl getting snakebite piercings?

Im turning 16 soon and i want to get snakebite piercings. A lot of people think i will really suit it but im worried it wont and it will be difficult for me to get a job.

Well, I think it's always great to go through with self expression; so if you want the snakebites, get them. However, it is smart of you to realize there are repercussions to having obvious body modification, such as certain piercings or prominent tattoos.


But, you could probably get a more discreet type of jewelry in your snakebites... rather than the sort that would attract a lot of attention. Of course, it's your choice though! So, you'll have to decide if you're prepared with any sort of difficulties that might arise when you're looking for a job because of your appearance.

If you don't like it then you can always take them out and if you didn't have them done then you'd always be wondering what it would of been like if you had of had them done. You can always try sticking some small labret balls in the places with a little bit of sellotape or glue and step back a bit and see what you think - its what I did to see what dimple piercings would look like.


When they've healed properly you can put labret retainers or balls in/on them which are plastic and clear and its what I used when I was at school and you can also do that in jobs, etc. or you can just take the balls off the tops and leave the labret in or take them out altogether temporarily.

Hullo :) It all depends on what kind of job you want, but most of employers don't like piercings, tatoos etc.... so they might ask you to take them off or they'll just turn you down. And if you want to be a baby-sitter (or something like that) it might scare the parents away.





So think about what kind of job you want before you get it.

it could effect the recommendations on getting a job but i think it would look super cute. even if you do get them and work makes you take them out your allowed to have spacers in so they wont close up and as soon as you leave work just pop them back in :)
They're not very nice. If you're not totally scene, they make you look like a poser. Don't do something when you're 16 that could ruin the rest of your career. If you want a piercing that bad, get one that isn't always visable, like navel or ears.
if you're gonna get em make sure to wear the style, cause don't scene girls/ guys have snake bite piercings? it'll look weird if a beauty paget kind of girl had those piercings
I hate going to school and seeing them everywhere, they're gross. Sorry, most people just don't suit them :S.
